I must admit am blown away by the state of fashion in Kampala. The heart bit city of Uganda main businesses are clothes/shoes and handbags boutique. Talk of Aladin pants , skinny jeans, handbags, shoes, heels...you name it. If you are looking for somewhere to shop for quality, classy, elegant and affordable price..Kampala is the place to be! Its so amaizing to see how people get fond of a certain look and after somtime they switch to another within a snap of a finger. It all began with trench coats,buh now,Waterfall sweaters are the in things. Personally i find them so amaizing and beautiful, they accesorize you look n make u look fancy due to the falls at the end of the sweater.
Unfortunally, i dont have one, am on a mission to get one, wish me luck!!

You get in the office early in the Morning and the compliments you get are:

* That top, it doesn't look good on you..

* You smell funny..
* That skirt you have put on looks faded..

When you get such negatives comments in the morning, chances are you end up being dull the hole day. You feel insecure around people and you start wondering what people's thoughts are towards you, all because one person gave you a negative compliment.

If you are confident and you know who you are (identity),you don't let other people define you, you DON'T let such things get into your way and put you down. If you are a lady, your emotions might get wild and you cant help it but cry, that's allowed! Cry it out, square your shoulders, step on it and move on. Put on that smile as if nothing happened!!

Environmental change.

We are heading towards the rainy season, hence it will be chilly and cold. People will definitely change their dressing style..from fancy stunners to caps....from short skirts to long...from dresses to pants. The change is so dynamic, till you wonder if people normally go to shop for new clothes. One thing is certain, ladies will continue rocking their stockings specially in their office wear(skirt suits). Boots and coats will be the in thing...lets wait and see....
